The next big MMO?

http://kotaku.com/everquest-next-cou...pgs-1003801733

The above is not the only source of information, but the easiest one I can access from work. So far what I've read about this new MMO seems to suggest that it WILL offer something unique to the market.

Personally I love the idea that as a player I could enter a random forest and then set down a Rally Call, which will cause any players nearby to come along, help clear the forest of Mobs and then start settign up tents, harvestign wood and chaning that little camp into a small village, and presumably the game will then spawn NPCs who will give dymanic quests that will help expand that village into a town, and then a city.

Presumably given enough player involvement it may become a major city and last for the rest of the game's life-time....and if the players allow it to rot (ignore the quests and events) then the city will eventually fall becoming a ruin.

The game will apparantly add somewhere around 40 distinct classes at release, I'm guessing this will be a misxture of combat and gathering/crafting classes and that you'll have the option to mix it up a bit so you can be an effective warrior and crafter, but I've not seeen much on the classes themselves, so that's purely a guess.

Unfortunately I doubt my hardware will allow me to play any major MMOS now (even runescape 3 is likely to be beyond me), but I'll keep my eye on this one just to see how well it does.

So please read the link, find your own sources and for those of us who play MMOs out there, comment away!
