I was curious if anyone here has ever played any of the Dominions series, and what you all thought about it. If no one is aware of this game then I am attempting to give it some coverage.
I recently bought Dominions 4 and I absolutely love it. It is one of the deepest fantasy turn based games I have ever played. Here is the website http://www.illwinter.com/dom4/
I am not sure exactly how many hours I have spent playing it because right now it is only available through Desura, Gamersgate, and their web page(supposed to be on Steam in near future). I got it on Desura and as far as I know it doesn't keep track of hours played. However, I have played probably 20+ different games of it and watched LP's of it and am still scratching the surface of learning about this game.
It is a little on the expensive side and I was hesitant to get it but I sure am glad I did. From what I've heard, once you play it multiplayer(and yes, PBEM is an option)you can never really go back to playing against the AI. This sounds a lot like how Combat Mission has been for me, so I am eager to give multiplayer a go.
