Pics of the construction of Zkribbler's houses in Sim 3

The screenshot feature of Sims 3 won't work for me because EA claims Steam sold me a used copy. So I took these screenshots the old fashioned way...with my camera.

The "Spy Nest" house consists of a "family" of 3 spies: Richard Prince, Scarlett Eire, and Doctor Cooke plus their black cats Jinx and Nova. These are suave, debonair spies, and so their house is built for entertainment, plus security.

The entryway, built to impress: four sets of bullet-proof glass doors. Once inside, the door to the right takes a visitor into the library. The center door goes into the bar, from where one can turn right to the pool or go straight ahead back to the lounge. On the left are stairs leading up to the second floor.

Here we are at the top of the stairs. The side corridors on either side lead to guest rooms. Straight ahead is the Great Room. The steps there lead up to Scarlett's suite on the third floor. The door on the far left goes into the dining room. There used to be a door on the left side where the music system is now that led to the kitchen, but I took it how. Look close--can you see the roll of toilet paper that someone mistakenly installed on the wrong side of the wall?

Here's a cut-away shot of the 2nd floor as seen from the rear of the house. We were just on the right side, looking left. Those are the guest rooms over there. The Great Room is in the center, just above the pool. On the left is the kitchen (with Dr. Cooke making waffles). Just behind it is the formal dining room, and then to the left is the dining balcony.

Here's a cut-away shot of the 1st floor, just below. The lounge is on the right; then the pool; then Doctor Cooke's suite, with bedroom, bath and study. On the far side [i.e., the front of the house] is the 3-car garage.

Here's a reverse angle shot. In the right, rear of Dr. Cooke's study is a secret door that leads down steps into . . .

...the secret basement. Starting with the lower left is an interrogation room, then an observation room and three holding cells. There are then a three-bedroom safe house, and the confidential study of Dr. Cooke.

Back on the 2nd floor, clockwise from the top: the Great Room, the kitchen, a small lounge for caterers, the dining balcony, and finally the formal dining room.

I showed you that pic so that I could show you this one of the 3rd floor, just above. On the far right is a flower-filled sunroom. Then is a mysterious L-shaped room. That's the rift in the space time continuum. There's no flooring there, and you can see down into the 2nd floor. There doesn't appear to be anything I can do to correct it, and so I just walled it off. On the left is Scarlett's suite: with bathroom, study and fuchsia-colored bedroom.

Here's Richard Princes suite on the other side of the third floor. From the right is his bedroom, private study [which him reading a book], and bath. The darkened room next to it is a guest bathroom off of the patio. The remaining room is just a sitting area outside of Princes' room.

Here's the house seen from the rear:

The 3rd floor without roof:

After Dr. Cooke's first day at work, he was extremely stressed out. Rather than have him commute home, I sent him to the pubic pool to relax. He had other ideas:

Dr. Cooke is proving to be a handful. Never again will I permit an absent-minded trait. He was first up, and so I had him make breakfast for everybody. Then he began to wander off to play computer games. I bought him back so that he could eat. He began to make more waffles, this time just for himself. His car pool arrived and he had to run off without having had breakfast, very hungry and having to pee really badly.
