So I'm debating getting WITP - AE for myself for Christmas. I have to admit though, I'm terrified of this game. I've been reading some of the AARs and holy crap is this game complicated, deep, and by far the groggiest of grog games I've entertained the thought of trying.
Does anyone know anything about this game or any of the other Gary Grigsby games? I've heard good things about War in the East but for some reason the idea of diving into the PTO has a certain hold on me. Probably because I haven't played a game about the Pacific Theater since the SNES.
edit: Well I'm almost definitely gonna get this now. One of the biggest things holding me back was the $80 price point. But they are now running a sale and it's 34% off. $53 is far more palatable.
