OK, I have decided to play a game just for hoots and giggles. I want to raise up my steam level WITHOUT spending any money. One of the easy ways to do this is to collect a bunch of steam trading cards (you know, those things you get random ones of for playing games) and make some sets.
I usually 2-3 times a year just take all the cards I have and put them up on the trading house for a penny each - so I don't really have too many of them right now. But, I do have a few, and if I can get you guys to trade me any of the ones you have that you don't care about (look, if you want to do like I usually do and sell them, I won't have any hard feelings), I can hopefully put them together into sets and get the steam levels.
Here is how to do so:
1) go to your steam inventory (the spot where they show you all your cards), it is on the top menu's under your name (mine is set as godking), usually the bottom item in the menu.
2) on the upper right (at least on my steam) there is a button called "trade", then "New Trade Offer..."
3) click on my name (godking, Spacy Cadette, or clay_monkey depending on how your steam interacts with my steam - I think most of you should see me as godking, but who really knows). You can also check this link (which I think will work):

4) when you click on their name, you get a popup with a your inventory and their inventory screen. Use the drop down menu to select "steam community"
5) Drop & Drag or double click on the cards you want to trade. NOTE: It should be auto set to show only those items that can be traded.
6) you can send me a note on the bottom, if you like.
