It's my personal opinion, that DLC has gone the way of the dogs.
Years ago, when the concept first started, DLC was fantastic as they were mini add-ons that came out post release to enhance and spotlight certain aspects of the game. However nowadays, DLC is a pure money grab, one I refuse to get sucked into. And IMO the worst possible thing you can do with DLC is make it day 1 DLC. That's stuff that was held back from the full game, for pure profit.
But it's getting worse! Now there's day -2 DLC! Yes, DLC is being released even before the god damn game! See below! Makes you sick. DLC coming out 2 days before the actual game.
